If you know your way around some of the larger Nightclubs in Melbourne City, weâre pretty sure youâd have heard of Panic by now. The multi-faceted DJ has been evolving in the scene for the past few years, expanding his listener base while playing at bigger and bigger venues.
Despite doing his best work behind the Decks infront of thousands of Techno-hungry nightclubbers, Panic has an active and engaged Social Media presence. He dropped a few gems throughout the interview highlighting the importance of posting high-quality content regularly.
âBefore I got into DJing I had no Social Media presence â at all. But everyone knows to make it in this industry youâve got to get on the socials, youâve got to post, youâve got to show what youâre doing.â
Later in the episode he elaborates further on people that worry too much about getting a low view count.
âRegarding Instagram, donât be afraid to put out content. Especially if youâre worried itâs not going to go to anyone. If your video gets a hundred views, donât stress â no oneâs seen it. If it gets a hundred thousand views, then you should be worrying!â
Panic is the co-owner of âLiquifyâ (alongside @gh0ulish.wav) which is an events-based group with a roster of talented DJs with a shared love of Techno, Industrial, Hard Dance and more. Liquify are currently working alongside Common Tribe on a Charity event called âThinking of Youâ to raise money to support victims of sexual and domestic violence. The event will take place at Angel Music Bar on the 24th of April (links below).
